I like Novembers that are cold and dry. I like Novembers filled with somber music, quiet poetry, amber tones, and Carmel apples. It’s been quiet around here today. Busying Myself with packing for work this coming up week again, and napping, is about all I’ve managed to accomplish.
I went out to feed the puppies this morning, and took this picture of a frosted plantain leaf. I thought it was beautiful. It’s still fresh and green, but with frost all around the edges. Very similar to some people; hard and cold around the edges, but soft and beautiful still on the inside.
