8/24/2018 Summer Is Ending

Well, I just came in from outside. Been out there checking out the stars and that beautiful moon; just laying in the grass. It will be a full moon in couple of days. I really do hope it’s clear then, so I can look up honey. It’s the Sturgeon Moon this month, marking Summers end.

It’s cool tonight, here in Kentucky, and you can feel summer leaving us in these nights of late August. I am more than happy to see this come. Fall means colder weather, football, sweaters, my birthday, the colors changing, and one huge downfall would be the people at my office turning the heat on in the building. I really do need to work from home I think.

Anyhow, I’m multi tasking now. I’m reading Sheila’s book for a final read through before Beta readers get their hands on it and I am also still reading Maps of Meaning, and listening while I’m at work. I am soaking this book up, I really love it. I love to hear a man read to me. I imagine it’s a strange thing, but I don’t care. Now Sheila’s book, I am more than certain will sell like cheap stocks for Tesla. It is just wonderful and I cannot wait for her to see all the hard work come to fruition. Also, I’m still counting on the assistant job she offered, while she is traveling the world doing book can dream.

It’s been a busy week, as my health has taken an odd turn, but it is what it is. I am still breathing, and reading, and writing, and living, and laughing, and singing, and loving. You guys have a great weekend. I’m off here to read a little and enjoy the solitude of my quiet bedroom.

*Took this tonight*

“August is like the Sunday of Summer."
