I’m writing this on my phone, so you will probably catch a lot of spelling and grammatical mistakes. Please don’t fixate on such pedanticism, it’s very telling. LOL. But thanks for coming here though...
I read fahrenheit 451 this week, and I have been to North Carolina for the last two days for work. I was going to blog all about it and all kinds of wonderful stuff, but you know what? I don’t think I have it in me this week. The book and my flight into Charlotte were the only things that I did this week that made me feel really good about anything. There is something about being closer to the stars that makes me so happy, so the flight was great, even though it was short and the fellow who sat beside me kept touching me with his arm. Maybe, I’m just super fed up with a lot of humans right now, and being in an airplane 10,000 feet above them was helpful.
Here are some pictures of my trip and a few things from the book. Go read it, it was wonderful.
“Don't ask for guarantees. Don't look to be saved by anything or anyone. Do your own bit of saving. If you are going to drown, at least die knowing you were heading for shore.”
We are driving home from North Carolina because our flights got canceled and we just had to stop for a bathroom break and for me to change into shorts and a T-shirt. I hate dressing up. Here’s the moon tonight near Dandrigde TN, at a very very sketchy rest area....but the drive guy insisted it was “fine”.....3 more hours to go, until I get home.
